How does it work?
The system works by importing images of individual sections of cabinetry to a computer screen and manoevering them into position to form the required design. |
How long does it take to learn how to use it?
The design systems are simple in principle and the basics can be learned by practicing for only an hour or two. |
Do I need anything else to run it?
No the Image Design Libraries come complete with our own custom application in which to build, save and print your designs. |
Are there floor plans as well as visuals?
Yes. Besides the modules that produce the front elevations we have "Topdown" viewpoint systems that work on the same principle to build up a floor plan. |
Is everything hand-drawn?
Essentially yes. An electronic drawing tablet is utilized to prepare sketches and facilitate importing them into the computer. It also greatly aids the clarity of the resulting images. |
Will the design systems do everything a CAD system will?
No. The design systems are designed to produce visuals and floor plans only. It was developed primarily as a sales aid for designers and business owners. |
Will the systems product price sheets?
We can provide custom pricing sheets using Excel spreadsheets. Please contact us directly if you would like us to do this for you. .(Back to the top) |
Will the design systems produce cut sheets?
No ......... and there are currently no plans to do so. |
Will the system "plug into" computerized factory equipment such as CNC Routers?
No. You will need a good, industry-specific CAD system and deep pockets!! |
Are there any other systems besides Closets?
Yes. We have design systems for Home Offices, Garages and Pantries as well as Closets. A Media Center design system is planned for later this year. There are also Top-down viewpoints to compliment each of our respective systems. |
Can the system be customized to suit specific requirements?

Are the design systems compatible with Mac?
Not at the present time but we are hoping to develop a Mac compatible system in the near future. |
Are the images drawn to scale
Yes .... they were drawn to the scale of 1/2" to the foot. |
Do I have to buy all the systems at once?
No .... Once you own one of our Image Design Systems new Image Libraries can be added over time to suit your needs. |

Why doesn't my application workspace display correctly?
The application needs a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or above. If your screen resolution is lower than that you should change it. To do this right click on your desktop and click Properties. In the Display Properties box that appears click the Settings tab. Alter the screen resolution by sliding the marker to the required resolution. |

What standard width sizes are used?
In the Closet and Pantry Image Design Systems there are full height sections in 18", 24", 30" and 36". Also illustrated are floor standing units in both 84" and 96" panel heights. The wall mounted systems have panel heights of 47" and 78" in line with the 32 ml bore system.
The Garage Image Design System is illustrated in widths of 18", 24", 30", 36", 42" and 48 whilst the Home Office Image Design System has widths of 18", 21", 24", 30", and 36". In the Home Office system there is also a 12" wide CPU base and upper cabinet. |
Does the trial version contain all the images that the full versions do?
No. The trial version only contains a selection of images which is enough to produce the designs illustrated on our Download page. However, the full design systems contain hundreds of images and allow you to depict any design scenario you are likely to need. |
